Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson walked down the aisle in a lavish outdoor ceremony in Cabo on Saturday - months after secretly obtaining a Record of Marriage in the United States.
The Olympic legend posted a picture of the ceremony on Instagram on Sunday, captioned: 'My best friend.... I love you!!'

It shows a grinning Phelps looking dapper in a light-colored suit as he walks hand in hand down the aisle with his bride with their five-month-old son Boomer watching from the arms of bridesmaid Allison Schmidtt.And a beaming Johnson is seen looking radiant in a daring dress, designed by Julie Vino, with an intricately embroidered bodice and thigh-high slit in the skirt.

Phelps didn't elaborate on the details, but DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal that the couple had their wedding ceremony at the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in front of their friends and family followed by a reception in the Mexican resort city on Saturday.

And their rehearsal dinner took place at a popular taco stand, which golfer Chris Stutts shared a picture from. Phelps' fellow Team USA swimmers Allison Schmidtt and Natalie Coughlin were among guests in attendance, but his longtime teammate Ryan Lochte was not. Instead, Lochte and new fiancée Kayla Rae Reid donned Alice in Wonderland costumes for a Halloween party in Beverly Hills, with Lochte dressed as the Mad Hatter and the Playboy Playmate as Alice. It's likely that Phelps uninvited his longtime rival and friend, who was his roommate during the Rio Olympics, over the scandal that erupted when Lochte fabricated a story about being robbed at gunpoint on a night out in Brazil.
