Togu Ogunlesi, the special assistant on digital/new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, has published the desperate e-mails that former leader of the deadly Boko Haram sect Abubakar Shekau allegedly wrote to Islamic State (ISIS) terror group. Mr. Ogunlesi seems mocking Shekau as e-mails are very official. The Nigeria-based insurgents have pledged allegiance to ISIS in March 2015. Later, the leadership of the ISIS named Abu Musab al-Barnawi, who was formerly the spokesman for Boko Haram to replace Abubakar Shekau as the leader of the sect.
