Mariah Carey admits, she was Shock, to learn ex-husband Nick Cannon got Brittany Bell pregnant..

The couple share five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.  Although their divorce was just finalized earlier this month, Mariah Carey says she is happy for her ex-husband, Nick Cannon. 
News broke in early November that the American's Got Talent host was expecting a baby with Brittany Bell, his on-again, off-again girlfriend.

'I'll always be supportive of him and this is all news to me, 'cause I didn't know about this til maybe last week,' she said. But she insists she has nothing but good thoughts for her ex, adding: 'If he's happy that's great.' The father-of-two confirmed the news last week.  When asked about Brittany's pregnancy on the Breakfast Club, he said: 'Who said it wasn't mine?' He added: 'I've got a baby on the way ... absolutely ... God said be fruitful and multiply. I'm doing the Lord's work ... everybody get a baby! I'm passing them out,' he continued.

Nick and the 28-year-old former beauty pageant contestant have been dating 'on and off' since 2015.  Brittany is reportedly more than six months along in her pregnancy.  The pregnancy news comes on the heels of his divorce settlement with Mariah, agreeing on joint custody of their five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.

Meanwhile, Mariah's breakup from 49-year-old Australian businessman, James Packer, was made public last month. She recently opened up during an interview about the split. Asked how she's feeling 'mentally' and whether she's 'happy,' Mariah responded, 'I think I'm doing well.' She added: 'No. I'm actually. Everything happens for a reason, things are the way they are.'  The couple had reportedly split a couple of weeks after a disagreement on a trip to Mykonos in Greece. They began dating in June 2015 and James proposed in January with a 35-carat ring.
