Beyoncé has never been one to turn down a good
costume party. The 35-year-old singer went all in on the ’80s and ’90s theme for
her cousin Angie Beyince’s birthday party on Saturday. Beyoncé dressed up as a
member of Salt-N-Pepa in their music video for the hit “Push It,” donning a
black bobbed wig, gold chain and oversized jacket.
She posed with Shawn Holiday of Sony Music
Entertainment, who dressed as Prince in his iconic “Purple Rain” ensemble. The
party was a family affair, as Tina Knowles also joined in on the festivities.
“Danced all night!!” Knowles captioned a photo with
the birthday girl herself. “Great party but my feet hurt.”
Last year, Beyoncé got the entire family in on group
Halloween costumes inspired by the 1988 comedy film Coming to America.
Beyoncé accessorized her brightly patterned
minidress with a turban, wide belt, large beaded necklace and intricately
beaded heels. Jay Z did a spot-on impression of Prince Akeem Joffer, Eddie
Murphy‘s character in the film, complete with tuxedo, cap, leopard-print stole
and single long braid. Meanwhile, Blue Ivy was dressed as one of Prince Akeem’s
potential brides from the film.
