Wizkid has been announced as the winner of the Best African
Act category for the MOBO Awards for 2016.
The singer was announced at the
Pre-Award party in London on Thursday October 27th. Having won it in 2011, this
makes it the second time Wizkid is winning the award. Wizkid beat competition
from Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Eugy and Moelogo to win the award. The MOBO main
awards holds next Friday November 5th at Glasgow SSE Hydro. D’Banj is the other
Nigerian with a MOBO Award.
