Jennifer Lopez has decided to bow out of the concert she was
scheduled to give on New Year's Eve.
The appearance at the Miami nightclub E11even would have
snagged the singer $1 million, according to TMZ.Yet the 47-year-old has turned her back on all that money in
order to ring in the new year with loved ones at the sprawling Bel-Air estate
she snapped up in May.
'She was just so consumed with Shades of Blue, her concert
and other obligations,' said once source to TMZ, 'getting on a plane for New
Year's just seemed too much and she wanted some personal and family time during
the holidays.'Shades Of Blue, an NBC cop drama series that stars her
opposite Ray Liotta, has been filming a second series due to air next March.
Meanwhile, she's been doing Jennifer Lopez: All I Have, her
residency at The AXIS auditorium at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las
Vegas.
Also on Tuesday, TMZ said that, as per the information
they're getting from their sources, 'it's only a matter of time' before she
strikes up a romance with Drake.
The 47-year-old and the 30-year-old apparently have a
musical collaboration in the pipeline. On Monday night, she was one of his
guests at Delilah in West Hollywood when he rented out its swank environs.
In August, the Out Of Sight star and her erstwhile backup
dancer Casper Smart split up, after having dated on-and-off since 2011. As of
October, rumour has it Drake and Rihanna have also broken up again.Earlier this month, Drake dropped by The AXIS to see a
performance of All I Have, posting an Instagram selfie of himself grinning
beside the Selena leading lady.
In his caption, next to an emoji of a faintly smiling face
with stars where its eyes would've been, was: Lotta those'.The pair of them had also posed backstage with another two
celebrities who'd turned up to the concert: Kevin Hart and Kristin Chenoweth.
