The NRC has been operating in South Sudan since 2004. The organization has been engaged extensively in food security, health, education, sanitation, among several projects throughout the country.
NRC have over 300 hundred staff, whereas 90% of them are local recruits from South Sudan.
The attached article written by ‘Bistandsaktuelt” newspaper today in Norwegian language as to alert the Norwegian has revealed more information about how their NGO staff was unceremoniously taken to national security headquarters by the rogue regime’s mafias who have been terrorizing the people of South Sudan and those who comes to the country in good faith to help the needy and suffering people of South Sudan.
This is very sad and humiliating to harass the staff of international voluntary organizations like NRC that is committed to provide basic humanitarian services to our IDPs at various POC camps in the country. Such cruelty action being perpetrated by the rogue regime in Juba must be condemned in strongest possible term by all peace loving people all over the world.
Since they begin to feel the heat of this war, their agents have now resorted to intimidate both local and foreign workers in order to deprive them from their daily activities.
They are using this inhumane tactics in order to scare away all committed international organization’s staff in order to close down their operations in South Sudan and expose over two million IDP at risk of starvation and imminent death.
