Reports reaching Daily Post have it that Reigners Bible Church International, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital have collapsed.No fewer than three persons have been confirmed dead in the incident which happened at about 12 noon on Saturday.
A source privy to the incident reliably told Daily Post that the founder of the church, Apostle Akan Weeks was supposed to be ordained Bishop today. Sources revealed tthat high profile citizens of the state were present at the event when the church, located at Km1 Uyo Village Rd, Off Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, collapsed. The state governor, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, was present.From all indications, the governor, alongside others were trapped in the building.
