Marc Anthony separates from wife Shannon De Lima, barely 24hrs after kissing with his ex Jennifer Lopez at Latin Grammys

On Friday TMZ reported the Latin crooner had called it quits with Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima, 28.
This news comes a day after the 48-year-old salsa king planted a very passionate kiss on his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, 47, while on stage at the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas where they performed a duet.

After the smooch, Anthony tried his best to downplay any romance as he playfully kissed his friends aboard his private jet and shared the images on Instagram. The hit maker was trying to make it seem as if he kissed everyone on the lips. A source also insisted to TMZ that he was feeling 'peer pressure' to kiss the Jenny From The Block singer as the crowd was yelling 'beso,' But buzz still kept gaining momentum that they were back together.

However, on Friday Jennifer's manager told TMZ the stars are 'absolutely, categorically, 100% not back together.' Anthony and Lopez, who were married from 2004 until 2014, have been spending a lot of time together this year.  In August she was seen backstage at her All I Have show in Las Vegas. Oddly, Shannon was also there and Jennifer had beau Casper Smart by her side.  Jennifer and Casper called it quits in late August amid claims he had cheated.

According to People, Casper had cheated before and when it happened a second time, the American Idol vet ended all ties with the choreographer. Lopez and Anthony performed a duet together in August at Radio City Music Hall in NYC and then announced they were working on a Spanish language album together.

They seemed to be getting very close all of a sudden, but it appeared as if their friendship had just grown naturally with Smart out of the picture. The last time Marc and Shannon were seen together in public was at that Radio City Music Hall concert.

Jennifer, Marc and Shannon even posed for a photo with the couple's twins Max and Emme, aged eight, backstage. Shannon still had on her diamond wedding rings. This fall Lopez and Anthony have been meeting in a recording studio in New York as they bang away at their new album.

So it didn't seem suspicious when on October 29 Anthony appeared on stage with the AKA singer when she was giving a concert for Hillary Clinton. The site added that the singer and the model broke up 'sometime recently.' They wed in 2014 and never had children. Shannon has a son Daniel, aged nine, with ex partner Manuel Sosa, 33. Lopez and Anthony have a long history together that spans 20 years.

They became friends in the late 1990s when Jennifer was just establishing her career as a singer. They recorded the duet No Me Ames for her On The Six album in 1999 which became a smash hit. Soon after they started spending more time together but insisted they were just friends. After her engagement to Ben Affleck ended, Marc and Jennifer started dating, and then wed in 2004. They worked on more music together and starred in the 2006 film El Cantante about salsa singer Hector Lavoe.   Marc's marriage to Shannon was his fourth. Before that he was married to Lopez, and before that he was wed to Dayanara Torres and Maria Von Ritchie Lopez.
