The Nigerian Army has announced plans to bury the late
officer Mohammed Abu Ali who was killed in a battle with the dreaded Boko Haram
terrorists on Friday, November 4.
The Nigerian Army in a tweet today, said the Ali’s burial
will take place at the National Cemetery in Abuja by 5 pm today, November 7.
Ali was killed in ambush on troops of the !Nigerian army by members of Boko
Haram on Friday. He was killed alongside four other soldiers in the ambush laid
by the terrorists in the area.
Since his death many Nigerians, including his colleagues
have written tributes in his honour.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian army has performed the final burial
rites on Lt. Col Mohammed Abu Ali on Saturday, November 5. While his body was
been taken away, soldiers stood at attention and saluted the late gallant
soldier who lost his life after he and
other soldiers were ambushed by the terrorists.
He was said to have led Nigerian army units that recovered
Gamboru-Ngala, Baga and several communities from the terrorists.
