Joe McKnight: NFL Player Killed in Road Rage Shooting


Joe McKnight, a former NFL football player who was on the New York Jets, was murdered during a road rage shooting. He was 28.The incident happened on Thursday (December 1) at 2:43pm in New Orleans, La.
Joe reportedly was trying to apologize to a man in the middle of the interraction when the man started to shoot. After the man shot him, he said “I told you don’t f**k with me” and then fired again, according to NOLA.com.
After playing college football for USC, Joe was drafted by the Jets in 2010. He played with the team for two seasons before going to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014. He later played regional football.
Joe was identified at the scene by his family members. We send our thoughts and condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
