Nigerian Shippers Council honour terminal operators and shipping lines for exceptional Performances...

Nigerian Shippers Council earlier in the week  honoured two terminal operators and two shipping line agencies for exceptional perform-ance in line with the ports  economic regulatory status on compliant level.
The two concessio-naires include; INTELS Nigeria Limited and Ports and Cargo Handling Services Limited.

Also, SDV shipping and Pacific International Limited (PIL) were the two shipping lines operating in Nigeria that got special recognition for outstanding perform-ance on the council’s regulation. Addressing journalists at the sideline of the event, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers Council, Barrister Hassan Bello said the council cannot perform in isolation but with other government agen-cies in the industry. Bello added that the event was in appre-ciation of acknowl-edging the synergy and encouragement the collaboration and cooperation that is necessary for the industry to move forward. The Chief Executive Officer also described the private sector as a responsible and strategic partnership in port efficiency.
